Product Overview
A 3500 lbs torsion axle through 7000 lbs torsion axle is an independent-suspension trailer axle
in which each wheel mounts to a forged torsion arm rotating inside a rubber-cord cartridge pressed into the
axle tube. The rubber element acts as both spring and damper — there are no leaf springs, shackles or hangers
to maintain.
Compared with leaf spring axles, a torsion axle provides:
- Independent wheel movement — one wheel’s bump input is not transmitted across the trailer
